Samieh S. Rizk a.k.a Sam Rizk is a facial plastic surgeon specializes in rhinoplasty.[1][2] He is best known for presenting a 3-D endoscopic rhinoplasty that helps preserve tissues and muscles within the nose as the approach allows him to visualize the intranasal anatomy clearer.

Early life and education[edit]

Rizk completed his undergraduate from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and earned his medical degree from Michigan's Medical School in 1993.[3] He served as a resident at Weill Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.[3] Rizk completed his fellowship at the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery in Sacramento, California.[4]

Career[edit]

After years of training, Rizk opened a private clinic in New York. He is a pioneer of new and unique approaches to plastic surgery globally. He introduced three-dimensional, high-definition rhinoplasty surgery, which allows precise surgical procedures with painless and quick recovery. He has specialized in ethnic rhinoplasty. He is the director of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) Accredited Surgical Suite, Manhattan Facial Plastic Surgery.[5][6][2]

Rizk is a fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery,[4] Faculty of American College of Surgeons-FACS, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Medical Society of the State of New York, New York Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Society, and New Jersey Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.[7]
