Samit Garg
Samit Garg is an Indian Entrepreneur.[1] who is the CEO & Co-founder of E-factor Entertainment Pvt. Ltd & Skywaltz. He completed his schooling from St. Francis’ College Lucknow in 1989 and graduated from Lucknow Christian College in 1992. Samit married Manika Garg[2] on 21st November 1997 in Lucknow.
Career[edit]
Samit started his professional career with Money Markets (1992 – 1996). He founded Air Charter Business in 1997 which didn’t go that well due to volatile market demands.
Since 1998, he stepped into business of events and started working with several local vendors of events and wedding in Northern India.
He founded E-Factor Entertainment Pvt. Ltd with his wife Manika Garg and friend Jai Thakore and his wife Sonali Thakore in January 2003.
In January 2008, he and Jai Thakore founded Skywaltz, the only commercial enterprise of its kind in India and operate a fleet of 7 balloons across various states in India and international festivals across the world like Agra, Pushkar and Araku Balloon Festival.
Over the period of time, E-Factor Entertainment has planned and managed several luxury weddings for Indian and International clients[3]
In March 2017, Filmmaster Events has formed a 50:50 joint venture[4] with E-Factor Entertainment to explore opportunities in the event space, with a focus on sports related properties as well as tourism-related events.
