Shivank Jalan
Shivank Jalan (born 2012) is an Indian entrepreneur and student from Kolkata, India. He is the founder of KidLink and Elevate, two companies he built while attending school. He is one of India's youngest active startup founders.
Early Life
Shivank Jalan was born and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He is a student at R.P. Goenka International School, Kolkata. From an early age, he became interested in business, technology, and how products are built.
He has attended several competitive youth programmes including the Ashoka University Young Scholars Programme, Woodstock Summer School, and NMIMS Summer School. He holds a HubSpot marketing certification and participates in competitive debate and Model United Nations (MUN).
Ventures
KidLink
KidLink is an AI-powered class and activity discovery platform for families in Kolkata. The platform helps parents find verified tuitions, sports academies, dance classes, music schools, and other extracurricular activities in their city. KidLink lists over 150 verified classes and is free for parents to use. It was founded in 2025.
Jalan founded KidLink after identifying that Kolkata families had no centralised, reliable way to find quality activity classes for their children — information was scattered across social media, word of mouth, and outdated directories.
Elevate
Elevate is an AI agency founded by Jalan in 2026. The agency builds practical AI agents for small and traditional Indian businesses that lack the resources to adopt enterprise AI tools. Elevate's first major deployment was an AI agent built for a 115-year-old publicly listed tea company.
Jalan founded Elevate after observing that most AI tooling was designed for large corporations, leaving traditional Indian businesses without accessible AI solutions.
