Samuel Piri,[1] also known as Sam Piri, (born 10-12-1988) is a British Human Anatomist and the CEO of Tamworth-based organization ITAE[2] (Inspire to Aspire Events Limited), founded in 2015. He is best known for his live autopsies and operations demonstrations on BBC2’s Dragon Den.[3]
Early life & Career
Samuel is originally from Sutton Coldfield.[3] He studied the anatomy of the human body in Sheffield, and later became a science teacher after his teacher training at the University of Manchester. Before creating ITAE, Samuel started educational events on the subject of anatomy dissection since 2012.[4]
Dragons’ Den
Samuel Piri carried out a live anatomy and physiology exhibition with synthetic bodies and animal specimens in the BBC2’s Dragon Den,[5] Series 16, with VVIT cadaver. The exhibition acquired £90,000 in investment from Tej Lalvani[6] a British businessman and a former Dragon.
