Investment Metrics is financial data and software company headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut, United States. The company provides financial solutions to institutional investment consultants, plan sponsors, wealth advisors, asset managers and owners, as well as global financial institutions.[1]
Investment Metrics provides access to portfolio managers, investment bankers at financial institutions and data analytics. The company allows performance analytics of over $7 trillion of assets under advisement.
History
Investment Metrics was founded in 2010 by Sanjoy Chatterjee. The company was formed out of Segal Rogerscasey LLC.[2] In 2013, Investment Metrics acquired InterSec Research, a business intelligence services company that provides services to institutional asset management firms.[3]
In May 2014, the company expanded its Board of Directors. In June 2017, Investment Metrics announced an equity partnership with HarbourVest Partners and Resurgens Technology Partners.[4][5]
Subsequently, in 2018, Investment Metrics acquired InvestorForce from MSCI.
In 2019, the company moved to its new headquarters in Norwalk, Connecticut. On April 4, 2019, the company appointed Brent Burns as Chief Executive Officer of the firm.[6]

Investment Metrics offers access to financial information and analytical applications to global professionals, including plan sponsors, asset managers and performance analysts, risk managers, sell-side equity researchers, investment bankers, and investment consultants.
On May 15, 2019, Investment Metrics released a new version of its asset management database.[7]
