Sanamacha Chanu Thokchom is an Indian boxer. She won medals at Youth and Junior World Boxing Championships and at Asian Youth Boxing Championship.[2][3][4]
Career[edit]
She won a gold medal 2021 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships in the 75 kg class. She competed at Asian Youth Boxing Championship held in Mongolia.[5][6] She won Gold medal in 75 kg event.[7] She also competed at prestigious Adriatic Pearl Boxing Championship and won Gold medal.[8][9][10]
She was expected to compete in 2023 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships but got injured and she was replaced with Shruti Yadav.[11][12]
She trains at Mary Kom Academy, Imphal, Manipur.[13]
