Sander Pieterse (Kazu)
Sander Pieterse (Nieuwegein, 9 January 1997), better known by his stage name Kazu, is a Dutch DJ, record producer, voice actor, voice-over and actor. As a seasoned voice actor, Kazu has been lending his characteristic voice to some of the biggest TV-shows across the Dutch media-space with renowned names like Disney and Netflix on his client list.[1][2][3]
Kazu debuted into the international scene with his first release on Barong Family[4][5][6] and co-writes on Trap Nation. Kazu is set to take over the world with his eclectic and forward-thinking yet hard-hitting productions.

2007 - Now: Acting[edit]
Pieterse's career started off early. Being only ten years old, he was asked by Stage Entertainment to audition for the musical "Tarzan" for the role of little Tarzan. After playing in Tarzan the musical for three years as main role, he continued his route on stage. His first voice-acting gig[7] was on Pokémon, continued by "Casper the Friendly Ghost". Pieterse's voice-acting career did not end there, it was just the beginning. In the following years, he participated in many Dutch television or cartoon series and recorded voices for channels such as Nickelodeon, Disney XD, Cartoon Network, Netflix and many more. Pieterse even managed to conquer a spot in the Harry Potter (film series), as the Dutch voice of Harry's son. In 2012, his voice could be heard everywhere on Dutch television. But also now, Pieterse's voice can be heard everywhere. More recent works are from Chase in the Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101", Leo from the Disney series "Lab Rats" and the Dutch voice of Stretch Armstrong, a young superhero, on Netflix. Besides voice-acting, Pieterse also continued his acting career in the largest haunted house in the Benelux in Utrecht. As an actor in the haunting house, he describes his role as: "I was a clown. Not just one that scares you, my character really intimidates people".[7] The dedication that Pieterse has shown in his (voice-)acting career, he still pursues in his daily life.
2013 - Now: Music[edit]
Pieterse's career took turns when he decided to start making music. He found his love for electronic music productions in 2013 and went to the Herman Brood Academie, a Dutch school for musicians. [8] Creating his on-stage name Kazu, he stated: "I want to be able to use my energy in music, so that's how I started making "Trap", a bit of a mix between Hip Hop and Dubstep." [9] Soon, Kazu started producing and performing in multiple clubs and events, like Jimmy Woo (Please Don't Tell), WesterUnie, Studio A12, Basis Utrecht and Poema Utrecht.
In 2019, Kazu had his first release on the label of Yellow Claw, called Barong Family. Other releases followed, such as the first Family Matters EP "Get Loud" together with Mike Hawkins and Emy Perez. Currently, Kazu is working on co-productions with well-known artists, e.g. Trap Nation.
