Sandrah Kahumuza Twinoburyo (born 18 November 1994), also called Sandrah Twino, is a Ugandan journalist, television and radio host, news anchor, news reporter, fashionista and media personality who worked for NTV Uganda on the weekend edition bulletins who replaced Rachael Mwine Arinaitwe.[1][2][3][4] Sandrah is said to to have resigned from NTV Uganda on April 1, 2022.
Early life And education[edit]
Twinoburyo was born in Bushenyi District and went to Bweranyagi Senior Secondary School in Bushenyi District for her secondary education. She later attended Makerere University, where she attained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass communication in 2017.[5]Before she completed her course, she won the Media Challenge Initiative prize for the best English news anchor in the Inter-University Media Challenge, a fellowship program that selects journalism students from the leading universities across Uganda and puts them through a boot camp program that is aimed at imparting basic skills in all the major areas of journalism.[6]
Career[edit]
Twinoburyo worked as a presenter at City Beats, an online television station. She later worked at Record Television Uganda as a news reporter, at Radio City 97FM, and then at NTV Uganda in her previous role.[3][6] She was selected to moderate The World Export Development Forum 2019 at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa in 2019.[6]

Her interests are reading novels, watching movies, resting, visiting friends and cookery.
