Sarah Babirye (born 22 November 2005) is a Ugandan professional football player who plays as an attacking midfielder for Asubo Ladies FC.[1]

Education background

Sarah started her education journey in 2008 at Sekamuli Primary School in Luweero District where she completed her Primary Leaving Examinations in 2016.

In 2017, Sarah joined St Noa Girls School in Zzana for her Uganda Certificate of Education and the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education and currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Agriculture at Makerere University.[2]

Football career

Sarah started her a football journey at the age of ten inspired by brothers to playing football since they were already playing at the school team in primary.[2]

Sarah credits her coach Adonyo Moses in her early football development who helped her in developing football skills during her infantry days in football.[2]

She also spent two years at Dynamic football club where she acquired most of the football skills.[2]

International career

Sarah was also named on the Uganda women's national football team (Queen cranes) provisional squad by coach Sheryl Botes for All Africa games in 2024.[3][4][5]
