Natasha Obama (born June 10, 2001), known as "Sasha", is the youngest daughter of Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, and Michelle Obama, the former First Lady of the United States.

Sasha was born at University of Chicago Medical Center by their parents' friend and physician Anita Blanchard.[1] She and her older sister, Malia, attended the University of Chicago Laboratory School.[2] When their father was elected president, they both began classes at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., on January 5, 2009.[3][4]

Sasha was the youngest child to reside in the White House since John F. Kennedy Jr. arrived as an infant in 1961.[5] In 2014, Malia and Sasha were named two of "The 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014" by Time magazine.[6]

In August 2016, Sasha began working at Nancy's, a seafood restaurant in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.[7] She graduated from Sidwell Friends in June 2019,[8] and enrolled at the University of Michigan for the Fall 2019 semester.[9] She transferred to the University of Southern California and graduated in May 2023.[10]
