On June 25, 2021, two unidentified men stabbed a Saskatoon Muslim Pakistani Canadian.[1][2][3][4] This was another incident of anti-Muslim hatred in Canada a few weeks after the London, Ontario truck attack. The victim sustained deep wounds to his arm and was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he underwent 14 stitches on his arm and 5 stitches on the other part of his body. The victim's beard was also cut during the attack.[5][6]

City police officers have launched an investigation into the incident.

The mayor of Saskatoon, Charlie Clark, condemned the incident, saying "I am still shocked. There is no room for discrimination in Canada, including Islamophobia and racism."[citation needed] The accused will be arrested and severely punished.
