School Chalo Abhiyan (Hindi: स्कूल चलो अभियान) is an educational movement launched in Shravasti district by Chief Minister Of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath.[2][3][4]

Shravasti district is being the first to start the School Chalo Abhiyan because it has the lowest literacy rate in the state, it is an effort by the state government to shape the future of primary education, Yogi Adityanath said, to give government schools a facelift, it is mandatory for each MLA to adopt a school.[5][6]
This programme is a part of "Operation Kayakalp" to transform the states primary schools education system and their basic facilities.[7][8]
