The School of Applied Mathematical and Physics Science was founded in 1999 at National Technical University of Athens, in hopes of familiarizing the students with the basics on many scientific fields that extend to Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Humanitarian Science.[1]
The school's didactic personnel provides expertise in a wide range of scientific fields, from philosophy, pure mathematics and fundamental physics to statistics, laser physics and material strength.[1]
The school provides undergraduate, graduate and PhD level studies.[citation needed]
The Hellenic Society for the Study of High-Energy Physics, an institute dedicated to studying high-energy physics, is located at the School of Applied Mathematical and Physics Science, as of July 2021.[2]
