Scott T. duPont (born 1964) is an American actor, film producer[1], host and author.
Self described as a “Storyteller”[2] duPont has acted in over 3 dozen films and television shows, produced over a dozen films and as an author (or contributing author[3]) has written over a dozen books[4] including a series of "Inspiring Quotes"[5] books. duPont is best known for one of his first films The Bros. (2007)[6], released by Lionsgate Films and a more recent documentary film What is the Electric Car? (2010)[7], released by Celebrity Home Entertainment[8]. Most of the films duPont produces or is involved with have some sort of positive, educational[9][10], or inspirational message to them.
Career[edit]
Early career in Florida[edit]
Early in his acting and producing career[11] duPont got involved in several not for profit networking groups and film trade associations[12] in Orlando, FL[12] where he started his career[2]. He served as a board member for Film Florida[12], was elected State President of FMPTA[13] (Florida Motion Picture & Television Association), was a founder and former Chairman of FAME[13] (Florida Alliance of Media & Entertainment), served as President of FCCA (Florida Cast & Crew Association)[12], and was a member of Women In Film & Television International[12].
Work in Hollywood[edit]
Over the years duPont has written acting and film columns for In Focus & chART magazines. Currently duPont volunteers his time to speak at events at HollywoodSuccess.com[14], Woodbridge University, and other acting and film schools to inspire and encourage the next generation of actors[15] and filmmakers. He is currently an active member of SAG-AFTRA and the Producers Guild of America and working on a new documentary film currently titled “Confidential Film Project” to be released in 2019.
Ventures and causes[edit]
duPont is an advocate for electric cars[16], solar and other renewable energy[17], and engaging with and contributing back to society[18]. He has been a long time member of Plug In America[7] and the EAA (Electric Auto Association)[19]. duPont is also part of the I Talk to Strangers Foundation and a producer for the upcoming film I Talk to Strangers (2019), which has been filming around the world in over a dozen countries.

- The Bros. (2007) - The story of two young and hopelessly suburban white guys and their journey into the world of hardcore "gangsta rap."[20]
- Who Stole the Electric Car? (2009) - Set in the year 1995 in Los Angeles, before Al Gore and Leo DiCaprio showed us that it was hip to conserve energy, the world's first electric car was introduced.[21]
- What is the Electric Car? (2010) - An award-winning feature-length documentary about Electric Vehicles.[22]
- I Talk To Strangers (2019) - Young congressional staffer, risks it all to embark on a journey of faith to unite various ethical, racial, political, and socio-economic groups through conversation.[23]
- Confidential Film Project (2019) - Confidential, untitled film project - plot and subject matter soon to be announced.[24]
TV Series[edit]
- Rizzoli & Isles (2011-2015) - Detective Jane Rizzoli and Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Maura Isles team up to solve crimes in Boston.[25]
- Mysteries of the Unexplained (2017) - The world is full of mysterious events that defy explanation. Each episode tells the story of one incredible phenomenon and investigates every possible explanation - from the anchor of logic to the far end of the supernatural.[26]
