Early Life[edit]

Sean Patrick McKenna (Born 1994) is a podcaster and former athlete. He was born in Grants Pass, Oregon but spent his early years in Southern Maine and Southern New Hampshire.

Athletics[edit]

Sean played four years of Varsity Baseball and Basketball for the Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles. The Eagles' Baseball team won the New Hampshire Division IV State Championship in 2010. McKenna was the starting pitcher in the championship game and led the Eagles to a 2-1 victory. He also played AAU baseball for the USA Mavericks[1] and one year of Division III baseball at Wheaton College in Illinois before retiring.[1]

Podcasting[edit]

More recently McKenna started a podcast called "The Super Secret Podcast" with his Co-Host Madison Albert.[2] The podcast covers corporate and personal topics and has a recurring segment called "The Ten Cent Gameshow." The podcast has attracted hundreds of listeners since it was launched in late 2019.

Family[edit]

Sean has one brother, Ryan McKenna,[2] who plays minor league baseball for the Baltimore Orioles. His mother Marlene is the founder of the HavHope blog[3]. His father Marty McKenna is a co-founder of the retail coffee chains Dutch Bros. Coffee[4] and Aroma Joe's Coffee[5]. Both parents are co-founders of the technology startup BeforeYou.[6]
