Sydney Sebastian Singh Gurdas Johal (born January 19, 1997), better known by his stage name Sebbie Johal, is an American-born Canadian rapper from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Early life
Syd Gurdas was born on January 19, 1997, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in the United States. He and his mother moved to the south-west coast of British Columbia, Canada, when he was two years old. Gurdas grew raised in the Vancouver suburb of Burnaby before moving to the royal city of New Westminster, where he attended choir sessions every year until he entered secondary school. In the year 2010, Gurdas and his close pals began producing songs, and he became well-known for his freestyle ability in social settings. Gurdas had a specific interest in generating remixes, which he would do in his spare time. This would be his beginning point for experimenting with developing his talents and recording songs.
Musical career
2007–19: ZER0care
Gurdas began to return with his interests in music talents for quite some time in 2016, till commencing concept ideas for a mixtape using some recovered material from previous years. Gurdas began working on his first full-length mixtape titled Diamonds, Multiple songs and snippets appeared on YouTube, Soundcloud, and on his social media[1] throughout 2018 and early 2019, but the mixtape was eventually left unreleased in favour of a reworked mixtape, titled ZER0care[2] which would ultimately become his first studio album, Reflections.
