Segun Toyin Dawodu (born October 13, 1960) is a Nigerian-born American physician, attorney, and digital health expert. He is known for his multidisciplinary contributions in pain medicine, rehabilitation, clinical informatics, and health law. Dawodu founded Dawodu.com, one of Nigeria's earliest socio-political blogs, the first blog on Nigeria’s sociopolitical and economic issues.[1], and has held clinical, academic, and advisory roles across several countries. His work on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) concussions and published on Medscape has been well cited[2].
Early life and education
Dawodu was born in Ijebu Igbo, Nigeria. He earned his medical degree (MB;BS) from the University of Ibadan and went on to pursue multiple advanced degrees, including:
