Sergio Rosa, born on May 19, 1955 in the neighborhood Mooca in S茫o Paulo. Member of the 2nd Generation of Dem么nios da Garoa, where he joined in 1981. Currently the member with the longest experience in the band, son of Arnaldo Rosa, the Founder of Dem么nios da Garoa. As Arnaldo's son, Serginho accompanied the Group throughout its trajectory, watching rehearsals, listening to all the stories and records, becoming the reference in person, the most characteristic figure of the Dem么nios da Garoa. In 1981, Serginho made his debut for Dem么nios da Garoa in the program ``Perdidos na Noite``. After years of dreaming of working alongside his father, his greatest mirror, he had the honor of working together until 2000. In his debut, Serginho joined playing Surdo, the same instrument his son Ricardinho would play in 2001. After the year 2000, when his father Arnaldo Rosa died, Serginho inherits his greatest trophy, Afox锚. Instrument that represents the Dem么nios da Garoa introduced in Samba by Arnaldo, from then on and still represented today with passion by Serginho. But before that there is a long history, a few years after its entry the group records the Disco - Dem么nios da Garoa 50 Years in 1993 with the album winning the Golden Disc Award for more than 1 Million records sold. Soon after, in 1994, the Dem么nios da Garoa entered the Book of Records, the Guinness Book as the oldest group in activity in Latin America. In 2005 they recorded the first DVD by Band Music entitled Dem么nios da Garoa - Ao Vivo, at Olympia in S茫o Paulo. With their first DVD work, they are nominated for the Latin Grammy Award. In years with Dem么nios da Garoa, Serginho was proud to take real Samba Paulistano on several tours in Angola, Argentina, Paraguay, Johannesburg and the last one they have done so far on the European continent, with several shows in France. This is a small release close to the size of its history and its representation in Brazilian Popular Music, for representing and being the face of this group that is the face of S茫o Paulo, with a lot of passion for life dedicated to the World's Largest Samba Institution, the Dem么nios da Garoa.
