Shamir Hasan is a Professor at the Department of West Asian Studies, Aligarh Muslim University, India.[1]

Education

He completed his M.A in Politics from School of International Studies, JNU and M.Phil and Ph.D from Department of West Asian Studies, AMU, Aligarh. [2]

Specialization

He is teaching Politics and Contemporary Political History of West Asia and guiding research on related subjects. He has been Sectional President for 'Countries Other Than India' at the Indian History Congress, Delhi University, 2007.[3]

Published works

He has published a Monograph on Evolution of Political Zionism and more than fifty papers in various prestigious Journals namely Proceedings of the Indian History Congress, Social Scientist.[4]
