Shannon Joseph Waldron (born 1 July 1983),[citation needed] better known as Shannon Waldron, is a entrepreneur and event organizer. He is the founder and CEO of Urban Fêtes.[1]

Urban Fêtes

Urban Fêtes was founded in 2011 by Shannon Waldron. It is an American lifestyle brand.[citation needed] It became known for holding Silent Parties around the world.[citation needed]

History

Shannon Waldron developed Urban Fêtes after attending a festival. After completing his training at Southern Illinois University, he incorporated this concept and founded Urban Fêtes.[2][3] At first, he held small meetings with professionals and recent graduates from his university, then later developed a database that helped him establish a demographic profile of the newcomers.[4]

In 2019, Urban Fêtes started a movement of silent parties in Chicago for public school students, a period when schools were canceled during the Teachers’ Union strike.[5][6]
