Itai Liptz is an Israeli-American entrepreneur, educator, and innovation strategist whose work spans healthcare, education, and technology. He leads cross-disciplinary projects that bring digital solutions to hospitals, schools, and training programs.
Early life and education
Liptz was born in Israel and began studying martial arts at the age of seven. As a teenager, he competed internationally in Muay Thai and went on to win consecutive Z-1 World Championships in 2011 and 2012. He earned a BA in Philosophy and Political Science from The Open University of Israel and later completed an MBA at IE Business School in Madrid.
Career
Liptz began his professional life in finance, launching a firm in 2015 focused on equity trading strategies. As CEO, he oversaw the development of custom trading algorithms that incorporated technical analysis, risk modeling, and real-time event tracking.
