Shardeum
Shardeum is an open-source, EVM compatible blockchain project launched in February 2022.[1].[2] It is built to solve the blockchain trilemma[3][4]- scalability, security[5], and decentralization[6]. Shardeum works on the principle of being open, collaborative, and community-driven [7][8]. Nischal Shetty, founder of Wazir X, and Omar Syed, an ex-employee of Yahoo, NASA, and Zynga are the co-founders[9] of this project. Shardeum is one of the first Layer-1 projects being developed out of India[1]
