Novel summary[edit]

This novel has an interesting literary style, as the events of this novel revolve around the conditions of the people before the October War, "sometimes, I used to say this as a joke to Issam. That you and your people have sold your land to the Jews, so there is no need to pretend to be sad, nor for the phrases to show the sad feelings, returnees, bells of return. But don't worry, Issam, we will liberate your homeland and return you to it, despite your noses. We will deprive you of the obscene wealth you are amassing while pretending to be poor refugees," he said.

Biography[edit]

Bahaa Taher, has translated many international literary works such as The “Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho, he was born in 1935, and has earned several awards, including Mubarak in literature in 2009, and also received the state prize of appreciation in literature in 1998, and the International Prize for Arabic Fiction (Poker) for his novel Wahat Al-Ghorob in 2007.
