Plot[edit]
Pratap Chandra Chaudhary, a wealthy and shrewd businessman, with a dark past has a flourishing business of coal. However, his business tactics are poorly received by his daughter Sandhya, who resents her father's ways. Shanti Swarup, a driver appointed for young Sandhya, forms a bond of love and soon, they are lawfully wedded. On hearing this news, Chaudhary is furious, and later shocked when he comes to know about his son-in-law's identity. This shock subsequently becomes the reason of his death. Why was Chaudhary shocked? What is Shanti's secret? What happened to Sandhya? All this and more is revealed by the climax of the film.
