Shaun Chasin (born March 9, 1989) is a Canadian film score and video game score composer.

Life and career[edit]

Chasin was born in 1989 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from Berklee College Of Music in 2013 and The USC Thornton School of Music in 2014.[1][2] While at USC he studied with composers Bruce Broughton, Garry Schyman, Christopher Young, and Jack Smalley.[3] He composed music for dozens of video games including Quell 4D[4], Hektor[5], and Way Of The Turtle for Apple Arcade[6]. Chasin got his start writing music for television in 2012 when he scored the documentary mini series Ho Yaqeen directed by two time Academy Award winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.[7] Chasin composed the theme song "Our Time" for the Anime Beyblade Burst which was released on Disney XD.[8]

He has received numerous SOCAN Foundation awards for his film scores.[9]
