Shay Levy (Hebrew: שי לוי; born 11 November 1991) known professionally by his stage name Shay Wize is a singer, songwriter and producer. His debut album "Fairytales" was released in February 2021. His debut album "Fairytales" was released in February 2021 and garnered praise from music critics[2][3][4][5].[6] His songs from the album "I Don't Believe In Love" and "Fairytales" reached the top 50 songs in Shazam in the United States in Seattle and Kansas.[7]
Early life and education
Wize grew up in Ramat Gan, alongside three sisters and one brother as the youngest son. Wize, who had difficulty with the school setting, stopped attending in the third grade and later told newspapers he preferred engaging in music and painting to attending class. In eighth grade, he returned to school and was among the outstanding students in his class. In 2010, he won second place at the end of his high school studies in the "Firstborn Creation" competition for the best realistic short story. The story is called "Two Minutes and Fifty-Two Seconds" – it unfolds the story of a boy with ADHD who did not fit in school and could not sit in one place for more than two minutes and fifty-two seconds.
Musical career
In 2010, Wize left Ramat Gan and moved to Rehovot and began producing his first album.
In March 2021, the album "Fairytales" was officially released.[8][9]
In March 2021 the song "I Don't Believe In Love" and the song "Fairytales" from the album were in the Shazam top fifty chart in Seattle and Kansas in the United States,[10] and garnered praise from music critics.[11]
