Shervin Saremi is an Iranian musician and audio engineer working the fields of computer music, immersive audio, and music production.

Life and Work

Saremi has studied Electronic Production and Design at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and Sound Studies and Sonic Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), Germany.[1]

He has collaborated with a range of international artists, most notably Swiss media artist Marc Lee. Together, they co-created several immersive and networked media projects that have been showcased internationally. [2]

In 2024, Saremi spoke as a panelist at the DOK Exchange XR conference (DOK Leipzig), addressing the integration and best practices of spatial audio in film and other interactive media.[3]

Awards

Saremi and Marc Lee received the Expanded Media Award for Network Culture at the Stuttgarter Filmwinter 2024 festival for their collaborative project, the mobile app EVOLUTION PROTOTYPE‑1.[4]
