Shinamo Moki are an electronic music group formed by Auryn Tate Waring and Felix Treadwell in Uckfield, East Sussex, England, UK in 2012. The current band consists of Auryn Tate (composer, keyboards and samples), Felix Treadwell (guitars and keyboards) and, as of 2013, Sasha Vergolini (bass guitar and keys).[2] Their music consists of instrumental electronica infused with Melodica, Koto, Zither, Bells, and other acoustic instruments. The band cite their influences as being that of 90s Anime, Asian folk music and video-games.[3]
Shinamo Moki have so far released one mixtape Archived 13 June 2021 at the Wayback Machine for i-D and four EPs of original material, You Couldn't Be More Distant , Go With Me , For You EP and more recently, Artificial Beach EP which received a 9/10 in Mixmag's February 2017 magazine. [4] [5]
