Shinners13 is a single released by the New York-based hip-hop group City Morgue. It was released on June 27, 2017 on Soundcloud[1] and officially released on March 23, 2018.[2] It acted as the lead single for City Morgue's debut album, City Morgue Vol 1: Hell or High Water.
Music Video
A music video was released for the song alongside numerous other singles. It was originally uploaded to YouTube through WorldStarHipHop,[3] but was taken down numerous times due to violations of YouTube's terms of service. The final censored version of the video was uploaded on the WorldStarHipHop channel on February 24, 2018.[4]
It was praised for having a unique fusion of both trap and metal[5][6], and stood out for having over-exaggerated themes of extreme violence, guns, drugs, prostitution, and arson.[7]
