Shinshu-kyo

Shinshu-kyo (神習教) is a Sect Shinto organization and one of the thirteen shinto sects.[1][2]
It was founded by Masaki Yoshimura[3] who lived from 1839-1915[4] He was a survivor of the Ansei Purge.[5] and worked at Ise Jingu and later was head of Tatsuta Shrine, but due to laws restricting teaching he entrusted his children to Itō Hirobumi (before he became Prime Minister) and established a new branch based on his family traditions[6]
It is considered a "purification sect" alongside Misogikyo.[2]
