Shirsh Bihar United is the first professional football club from Bihar based in Muzaffarpur.[1] It plays in Bihar state football championship or also known as the Moin-ul-Haq Cup which is usually held between the months of November and December.[2]

History[edit]

Shirsh Bihar United FC was nominated for I-League 2nd division in 2018 but did not participate in the league because they had not completed one year.[3]

On October 20, 2019, Bihar United played their last league match of District football league Motihari against Sports Club. The match was a 1-1 draw; because of better goal avarage Bihar United became champions of A division.[4]

Stadium[edit]

Shirsh Bihar United play their home matches at Khudiram Bose Stadium, Muzaffarpur.

Players and staff[edit]

Bihar United have three Nigerian foreigners in their squad. Also players from U19 Indian camp and Santosh Trophy players of Bihar and other states.[5]
