Dr. Shishir Kumar Shandilya is a Cyber Security Researcher[1] and the Deputy Director of SECURE - Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security at Vellore Institute of Technology, VIT Bhopal University, India. He  is a Visiting Researcher[2] at Liverpool Hope University-United Kingdom. He also holds the position of Executive Director of National Cyber Defense Research Centre, New Delhi, India. He is a Cambridge Certified Professional Teacher, ACM Distinguished Speaker[3] and also serving IEEE as a Senior Member. He has also received the IDA Teaching Excellence Award by Indian Didactics Association, Bangalore (2016) and Young Scientist Award for two consecutive years, 2005 and 2006, by Indian Science Congress and MP Council of Science and Technology. His recently published book is on Advances in Cyber Security Analytics and Decision Systems by Springer[4]. His research interests are on Advanced Cyber Security, particularly in Nature-inspired Cyber Security[5][6][7] and Adaptive Cyber Defense.
