S. M. Juniwal (1942-2018) was an Indian education administrator and established various educational institutions in Jaipur.[1] He started Sanjay Teacher's Training college.[2] Apex Institute of engineering & technology in Jaipur.[3] He was founder[4] of Shri Marudhar Kesri Balika Sanskrit Teacher's Training School.[5] He was an educationist, philanthropist & a great visionary had always a dream to build a conglomerate of educational institutions for quality, innovation. He established Apex International School, Jaipur in 1965 which was his first venture into the school education that over a time span of more than five decades various academic, technical and professional institutions in the State of Rajasthan. Apex University was started in 2018.[6]

Biography[edit]

He was a jeweler in his early life. His son Ravi Juniwal is chancellor of the Apex University.[7] He laid foundation of Sanjay Shiksha Samiti in 1965 and in his memory the Apex University started a Dr. S. M. Juniwal memorial moot court competition series for law students.[8] He was known as Dr. Sagar Mal Juniwal.[9]
