Shivaranjini is an Indian actress who has appeared primarily in Kannada films. She was a prominent lead actress during the early 1990s.
Career[edit]
Her debut film was Aavesha (1990), alongside Shankar Nag, Geetha, Bhavya, Devaraj, and Ramkumar. That same year, her film College Hero (1990), with Vinod Raj, was released. Her other release of the year was S. P. Sangliyana Part 2 (1990), starring Shankar Nag and Bhavya, which was a blockbuster at the Kannada box office.[1] S. P. Sangliyana Part 2 was re-released in theatres, and it is often considered one of the greatest sequels made in Kannada cinema.[2] She went on to appear in some of the popular films, such as Kalyana Mandapa (1991) with Raghavendra Rajkumar, Sundara Kanda (1991) with Shankar Nag, Iduve Jeevana (1991) with Ramakrishna, Keralida Kesari (1991) with Shashi Kumar, Purushotthama (1992) with Shiva Rajkumar, and Sangharsha (1993) with Vishnuvardhan.
