Shobhna Desai is an Indian television and movie producer. In the nineties, came Jeevan Mrityu, Alpviram and Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka (TV series) and in 2000s - Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye (2001),[1] aired on Sony TV all of which met with huge success and catapulted her. [2] She wrote the Gujarathi play "Aandhlo paato" into Hindi Aankhen_(2002_film)[3] Blockbuster movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Sushmita Sen under same production house. Shobhna Desai[4] produced first Marathi movie Kho Kho [5] directed by Kedar Shinde.
