Shopmonkey is a software as a service provider (SaaS) that services the automotive aftermarket industry. The software is a cloud-based application that features work order templates, inventory management, technician time tracking, automated appointment confirmations and reminders, quote and invoice templates to enable auto repair shop owners with an all-in-one tool to efficiently manage workflow and customer relationships.[1]

Shopmonkey was founded in 2016 by Ashot Iskandarian and is headquartered in San Jose, California.[2] Iskandarian created Shopmonkey to enable auto repair shops in the U.S. to run more efficiently while delivering better service to their customers. In 2019, Shopmonkey received $10 million in Series A funding led by Index Ventures. In 2020, Shopmonkey raised $25 million in Series B funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners.[3] In 2021, Shopmonkey raised $75 million in Series C funding led by Index Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners.[4] The current board of directors at the company include founder and CEO Ashot Iskandarian, Bryon Deeter, and Nina Achadjian.[5] Since the company was founded, it has grown to service over 2,500 repair shops in the U.S. and Canada.[6]
