Shoreline.io is a software company that specializes in the diagnosis and repair of issues using incident automation. Shoreline.io provides Senior Reliability Engineers (SREs) with resources to detect issues and debug in real time, and build automations for scaling cloud businesses.[1]
History
Shoreline.io was founded in 2019 by Anurag Gupta.[2] Before Shoreline.io, Anurag was a Vice President at AWS, where he was responsible for transactional database and analytic services. On July 27, 2021, Shoreline.io announced its emergence from stealth with the launch of its new platform designed to improve availability and reduce toil for SREs in their production environments.[3]
Shoreline.io has raised a total of $57 million from Insight Partners, Dawn Capital, Canvas Ventures and NTTVC. In March 2022, Shoreline raised $35 million in Series B funding with New York-based global private equity and venture capital firm, Insight Partners, leading the investment with participation from London-based early-stage venture fund Dawn Capital.[4][5] In April 2022, Shoreline.io was named one of the top 15 startups to watch by database Trends and Applications. [6]
Products
Shoreline.io diagnoses and repairs issues for CloudOps[7] via actionable alarms, fleet-wide diagnostics and actions[8], operations notebooks [9], automation, and a library of alarms, debugging commands, and remediation actions. [10]
