Damien Hoffman and Derek Hoffman first created the finance-based website Wall St. Cheat Sheet in 2008[3][4]. The website first rebranded to The Cheat Sheet before becoming Showbiz Cheat Sheet[5].

Showbiz Cheat Sheet is a brand of Endgame360 along with the websites Sportscasting and Motorbiscuit[6]. Endgame360 was named on Inc.’s Best Places to Work list in 2020 and on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in America in 2016 and 2017[7][8][9]

Showbiz Cheat Sheet competes with Buzzfeed, People, E! News, Screen Rant, Collider, and Distractify[10][11]. As a site, it provides up-to-date news, exclusive interviews, and television, movie, and music reviews[12][13]. According to Similarweb, Showbiz Cheat Sheet received 105.5 million visits in November 2021[14].
