Shuchir Suri (born 26 July 1988) is a Delhi based Indian entrepreneur who is known for co-founding and leading the food community called 'Food Talk India' as its chairman.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

Early life and education[edit]

Shuchir was born on 26 July 1988 in Srinagar, J&K and has completed his school education from Vasant Valley School in Delhi[1][9] and have completed higher his studies in Economics from Fergusson College,Pune.

Career[edit]

Shuchir Started his career as a Manager in Event Management Company.[1] In January 2013, Shuchir has co-founded the Digital community of Food and Drink with his colleague Anjali Batra.[10] It was started as an Exclusive Invite on Social Food Forum on Facebook where members can join the community, read and share the genuine food experiences. In 2015, Food Talk India has raised the fund of 5,000,00 dollars from the private sector for Food Talk Plus mobile application.[2][3][11][6]

Criticism[edit]

Shuchir was heavily criticized for uploading sexist roti meme describing the difference in cooking in Indian arranged and love marriage on social sites and for sending a 'fuck you' message to a journalist. at the end of these matters, Shuchir apologized by saying that their site was hacked.[12][13][14][15]
