Sigma File Manager is a free, Open-source, quickly evolving, modern File manager (explorer / finder), an advanced file downloader (Download manager) and Cross platform software for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.[4]
It is a Productivity software developed using software framework called Electron. The default layout displays folders and then the files, each with dates and either the items they contain or their size. It has the ability to stream/download files from the internet just by dragging and dropping the link.[5]
The application (v1.1.0) is still in early development (prototyping) stage and It is still hasn't been thoroughly tested.

The modern GUI features a photo at the top and below that links to system directories and drives. The photo can be turned off in the options, and selection of items can be pinned on the start page. The various evolving features are as follows:
