Sikh Izhan Nazrel bin Sikh Azman (born 23 March 2002) is a Malaysian footballer who plays for Selangor in the Malaysia Super League as a Goalkeeper.[1][2]

Club career[edit]

Early year[edit]

Izhan was a part of Malaysia Pahang Sports School during age of 13, but only remain for a year. Then he moved to Bukit Jalil Sports School, also remain for a year too. Following a year, Izhan make a transfer to AMD (Mokhtar Dahari Academy), before he moved to Selangor, and been choose to be under reserve team (Selangor II).[1][3]

Selangor[edit]

After graduated from AMD, Izhan choose Selangor as the next destination to develop his talents.[4] He also played four matches in the 2020 Premier League season with Selangor II. On 2 December 2020, Selangor confirmed that Izhan would be definitely promoted to senior's first team for the 2021 season.[5]

International career[edit]

Youth[edit]

Izhan has represented Malaysia at all youth level from the under 16-side to the under-23 sides. He was part of the national team for the 2018 AFC U-16 Championship that took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.[6] On 20 September 2018, he involve with emphatic start to the AFC U-16 Championship with a 6–2 win over Tajikistan.[7] He played only two games Malaysia's campaign at the tournament, which saw them eliminated at the group stage.[8]

He later moved up to the under 19s squad for 2019 AFF U-19 Youth Championship in the Vietnam. Izhan played three matches at the group stage including semi-finals and final.[9][10] After that, he also be a part of the squad under 19s for 2020 AFC U-19 Championship qualification which he made a single match at the group stage against Brunei under 19s with a victorius win by 11–0 and reach the single clean sheet.[11]
