History

Creation of the band and Lost in Time

Silver Dust was form in 2013 by Lord Campbell, Kurghan, Mr. Killjoy and Tiny Pistol. The same year, they released their first studio album "Lost In Time" which allowed them to play at the infamous Montreux Jazz Festival and open for bands such as Deftones, The Offspring, Eluveitie and Mass Hysteria at various festivals.[1] Their single "So Let Me Now" was broadcasted on the radio in Switzerland and stayed at the #1 spot of the Swiss charts for a few weeks.

The Age of Decadence

In 2016, their second album "The Age Of Decadence" was released and the band started touring all over Switzerland, earning them the status of great live band, winning a contest to play at the Greenfield Festival this same year with Nightwish and Amon Amarth. This status caught the attention of the Finnish band Lordi, who was searching for a supporting band for their upcoming tour[2]. This tour introduced Silver Dust on the European rock and metal scene and earned them a decent following in each countries they played in.

After the tour, they signed a contract with the german label Fastball Music and re-released "The Age Of Decadence" on the European market.

This first European tour was followed by a second one, this time in eastern Europe in August 2017, as headliner and a third one in November 2017, this time with Battle Beast.

House 21

In April 2018, the band releases their 3rd studio release, "House 21", in Switzerland and on 5 October 2018 in the rest of Europe[3]

Later in 2018, Mr. Killjoy decides to leave the band for professional reasons[4] and is replaced by Magma, whom will take part in Silver Dust's 4th European tour, once again tagging along with Lordi for their Sexorcism European tour 2018.
