Silver screen for short films
Silver Screen for Short Films (SSSF) is an ongoing monthly short film festival screening on every 2nd Wednesday of the month at Villagio Cinemas in Tampa, Florida, since May 11, 2016. It's organized by a non-profit organization SSSF Foundation, Inc., in association with Nukkad-USA Productions, Inc. Initially it was running at AMC Theater Sundial 20, located in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, until December 2017 before it moved to Villagio Cinemas in January 2018.
The first SSSF on May 11, 2016 was inaugurated by two local child artists - L. J. Ruth[1] and Ellah Durliat[2]

SSSF celebrated its 25th installment on June 13, 2018. The previews of its all monthly screenings in each month can be watched on its official YouTube channel.
SSSF is supported by local filmmakers and members of Tampa Bay Film Society, and other local film festivals of Tampa Bay such as Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival (TBUFF), Innovative Film Festival (IFF), Creature Feature Competition Film Festival (CFCCFF), Sunshine City Film Festival (SCFF), India International Film Festival of Tampa Bay (IIFF), and Sigmund Freud Film Challenge & Festival (SFFCF).
Every month the event is hosted by well known local talent or personalities from the film industry in Florida, invited & honored by SSSF Foundation.

Every month SSSF invites filmmakers from all over the world to submit their "short films that offer honest, exciting and thought provoking portrayals of our world" via Filmfreeway and Withoutabox. Eight to nine selected short films are screened every month followed by Q&A with local and out of state filmmakers in attendance. At the end of each event one film is awarded as "SSSF Audience Choice Award Winner" of the month by audience poll.
