Simonas Petrulis (born in July 25, 1978, Kaunas) – businessperson and chief executive officer of lithuanian "ARVI" Marijampolė Free Economic Zone[1]. He leads the international projects (foreign direct investment) management teams and oversees marketing and public relations projects.

Education[edit]

1992–1996 went to Kaunas Jesuit Gymnasium[2].

1996–2000 studied in Kaunas University of Technology and acquired bachelor's degrees in Telecommunication and Economics and business management.

2000–2002 continued studies and acquired master of business administration in international trade and marketing.

From 2002 – member of Kaunas University of Technology student union "RAFES" and lithuanian "Karjeros dienos" co-founder.

Later finished e-commerce and international sales studies in Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences, Finland.

Career[edit]

Signing of a €100 million deal with strategic investors from "Dovista"[3].

2000–2003 international project manager of TeliaSonera in GSM telecommunications field and new product sales in Lithuania.

2003–2005 became CEO of lithuanian "ETA Medium"[4] and did sales consulting in lithuanian B2B market.

From 2004 – Rotary International lithuanian club "Dipolis" charter President and human resource manager.

2004–2012 CCO at lithuanian "Sekasoft".

2005–2011 manager of lithuanian Rotary clubs international affairs committee and member of it's board of administration.

2012–2013 joined ISM University of Management and Economics and worked at business partnership with Eastern Europe countries, especially Belarus and Kaliningrad Oblast, created the ISM leadership studies program and stimulated international businesses partnerships.

From 2013 – manager of lithuanian "3P" investments project and CEO of Marijampolės laisvosios ekonominės zonos valdymo bendrovė. While working here Simonas Petrulis achieved the company goals and in 2016 sealed the deal with danish "Dovista" which plans to invest over €100 million over the next ten years in lithuanian Baltic FEZ (Marijampolė County)[5][6][7].

2014–2015 President at Baltic Institute of Agribusiness (BAVI).

From 2018 – President at Lithuanian Association of Free Economic Zones (LAFEZ)[8][9].

Notable achievements[edit]

In 2010 was awarded by Rotary International with Paul Harris scholarship award for national and international Rotary projects development.[10]. Became a member of the national lithuanian Rotary committee and international relationships coordinator in LT-DK district 1460.

In 2015 was awarded by international Rotary award in LT-DK district[11].

Was the first Lithuanian Jesuit alumni federation (LJAF) charter President and initiator[12].
