Sinemart Indonesia (SinemArt) is an Indonesian production company founded on March 3, 2003 by Leo Sutanto, Sentot Sahid, Heru Hendriarto, and Lala Hamid.[1] It initially focused on producing series and films. Their first work is entitled Malam Pertama, a limited series aired on SCTV. This first limited series has won many nominations in the event SCTV Awards in 2003.[2] Formerly a member of MNC Media, SinemArt is currently owned by Surya Citra Media.[3][4]
On August 1, 2022, SinemArt founded a new company named Ess Jay Studios to organize the production and trading of films, soap operas, and video recording.[5]
