Siren Head is a fictional cryptid created by Canadian artist Trevor Henderson. Siren Head is a 40 foot tall humanoid creature with near-skeletal frame and mummy-like skin the color rusted metal. Its limbs are disproportionately long and thin, with arms longer than it's torso, ending with bony hands.

Its head and neck is replaced with a long metal pole with two sirens, hence the name, Siren Head.[1]

History[edit]

Siren Head was created in 2018, by Trevor Henderson as doodle art, and it was inspired by the famous internet creepypasta character known as Slender Man.[2] The first image which surfaced on the internet of Siren Head, was the one which featured Siren Head at a graveyard.

Siren Head gained popularity, when the video game Fallout 4, created a playable mod which features Siren Head.[3][4]

YouTubers like PewDiePie, Markplier and Jacksepticeye, made their own videos regarding Siren Head, giving it much more exposure to the internet.

Physical characteristics[edit]

Siren Head is described to 40-foot-tall with heavily emaciated, near-skeletal body frame. Siren Head's skin is mummy-like and is the color of rusted metal. Its limbs are disproportionately long and thin, with arms almost as long as its entire body, ending in huge, bony hands. The head and neck is replaced with a thin pole of flesh with two sirens attached to them (hence its name), and several black wires snaking around its "neck" and into its upper shoulders, pressed against its abdomen. The speakers are the only metal parts of its body, fused to the neck by tendrils of skin and capable of swiveling around it much like the head of an owl. Some images depict Siren Head's speakers with toothy, lip-less human-like jaws and a long, retractable thin snake-like tongue, though Henderson has said that the teeth are only visible on a certain radio frequency.

Behavior, Tactics, and Abilities[edit]

It's brown-colored skin allows it to camouflage to watch the color of tree bark and it's allows it match it's surroundings of forests with tall trees. It will remain motionless while hunting, sometimes for days at a time.[5]

It is currently unknown for sure what Siren Head does to the victims once caught. Theories include eating them, or adding them to the roster of voices used by it, or simply just killing them. He silently stands in heavily forested areas making sounds like Nuclear war announcements, amber alerts, and mimicking other voices of friends or loved ones bringing people towards it and grabbing them off the ground and killing them violently.[1]
