Sitalakshmi (Hindi:सीतालक्ष्मी) born to Tamil Brahmin family, family of physicist, one of the eight siblings. She was sister of C. V. Raman (Nobel prize winner Indian Physicist known for work in light scattering). She was married to Sivaramakrishnan. She belongs to Chandrasekhar family.[1][2][3]. She had three children S. Pancharatnam[4][5][6], S. Ramaseshan[7][8] and Sivaramakrishna Chandrasekhar[9][10]
