Vincent Cochran, better known by his stage name Slim 400 (June 21, 1988 – December 9, 2021), was an American rapper.[3][4][5]

Biography[edit]

Slim 400 was born as Vincent Cochran on June 21, 1988, in Frankfurt, Germany, to military parents,[1] before moving to Los Angeles, California as a child. He was known for rapping songs about his time on the streets of Los Angeles, including his hit song "Bruisin", which featured YG and Sad Boy Loko.[6]

Shootings and death[edit]

In the summer of 2019, Cochran was shot 9 times in Compton, California. However, he survived the attack.[7] Two years later, on December 8, 2021, he was shot in Inglewood, California. Police were called to the scene, but he was pronounced dead soon after.[8]
