Slovo is a biannual journal edited and managed entirely by the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library.
Slovo is an interdisciplinary publication covering Czech, Slovak and American affairs, from the fields of history, culture, folk costumes, folk art, Music, ethnology, immigration and Bohemistics.
Each issue features cultural narratives as well as information about what’s happening in and around the museum and the library.
The first issue of Slovo appeared in 2000, published by Gail Naughton (director of the Museum) until 2018, with editor Sher Jasperse, Curator Stefanie Kohn and librarian David Muhlena.
