Snare
Snare is a threat you can encounter in The Hotel and The Outdoors.
Method
To find a snare, you need to look around the ground for cracks, which mean that there is a snare there. You should avoid standing on the crack, as if you step on a crack for more than a second, the snare eats you. Snares will not react if you are crouching or hiding in a closet.
Strategy
Professional players will usually crouch if there is a crack in the ground, as they usually try to avoid being attacked by the snares just in case they accidentally step on the snares. If Rush appears inside of the room, snares can eat him, causing him to stop appearing for the next five rooms. However, this creates a big hole inside of the round, and if you fall in the hole, you will be attacked by rush, potentially ending your game.
Information
If you step in a snare, you will be dealt 20 damage, but snares are unable to end your run unless you turn on a Modifier. Snares appears exclusively inside of the hotel, the outdoors subfloor, Super Hard Mode, Battle Mode, Daily Runs, and the Trick or Treat Vision.
